RentLingo Editor's Review
We sent a former property manager to investigate

This is a very nice but not upscale community. It has a nice range of amenities and the units are clean and well designed, although not luxurious. Pros include: The best part of Wyndhaven is the wide range of amenities it offers. The clubhouse and movie theater are nice features, and the dry sauna and basketball court are added perks. On the down side, the appliances are somewhat dated and the countertops are made of cheaper material.

“Stay Away! You’ve been FOREWARNED!!!”

Envision Apartments is trying to rip me off. I moved in May. I was rushed in the process and told that my medical marijuana license was accepted. Then told that it was not accepted after 3 months of living there. The girl who signed me up told me it was allowed and they needed to have a copy. Which is ok with me! I have horrible sciatica nerve issues and intestinal problems. I don’t use pills bc my dad is dying from those types of medicine. I was told I had to sign that day in order to receive discount and rushed to sign paperwork. Everything was ok for the first month. Then I had some ISSUES MOLD, BUGS, NASTY ?? AC DRIP IN MY SHOWER RIGHT ABOVE SHOWER HEAD and mind you I’m a very clean person and can’t stand bugs. They would push off work orders and take multiple days to quote on quote fix the issue. In then end they cut corners and the issue kept coming back. About 3 months in my apartment I received a letter saying that they were suing me for eviction. I begged and pleaded my case and they said you either move before court date or get eviction. I moved. After a month and half I receive a bogus letter saying lies and over charging me $2k for stuff that’s not true and rent even though they had someone move in way sooner than what’s documented bc I drove by my old apartment everyday and night to check and verify. After questioning Envision about when I would receive documentation it took over two and a half weeks for them to get me something. I have plenty of vids, pics.

“Not a family friendly environment”

Not a family friendly environment. Very inefficient, weak management team.

I would strongly advise anyone with children to avoid this complex. The complex caters to elderly and twenty year old clientele, but puts undue pressure on families to maintain a ‘monastery’ level of quiet.

A very unpleasant experience. Great for short-term lease seekers, but horrible if you end up being placed next to the wrong set of neighbors.

Two thumbs down on this one…

Not what you had in mind? Sorry about that, hopefully you'll give us another chance to continue your Mesa apartment search.
