“Not recommended”

We rented a 1 bedroom apartment from 1/1/17 - 1/31/18. At first it was all smiles and "We are here for you" but before our lease ended we had surprise charges fines. It was the worst.

Examples:

1) Before we left the apartment I asked what kind of things I should clean/fix and was told: "as long as you didn't punch a hole through the wall you are fine". 2 months after we left they charges us an extra $70 for "Sticker Removal" without informing us or showing proof.

2) We extended our lease by 1 month and the auto pay for rent got canceled on the original end date. $150 fine for being "late" with the payment.

3) When you call the management you are transferred to a call center who do nothing with your messages.

4) parking is bad: not only because of resident spots (extra $$), but also guest parking is always full and you have to park on the street.

Residents get a sticker for their car but they don't limit the number of stickers you get so we end up having more cars than residents.

The apartments are average. Management is the worst.

I do want to say a good word about the two maintenance guys. They are doing an excellent job.

Glad we left. Not recommended and stay away from Chelsea.

“Wish I could give NO STARS”

Do not live here!!! Sure, it's in a great location but that's the only good thing about this complex.

“Stay away”

I've lived here for a month and seriously regret it. Old, neglected run down and full of messy kids.

NO ONE cleans up after their pets, no one. Not even the apartment center. They don't clean the grounds! No landscaping crew, nope. Maintenon guy, he's worthless or too busy picking up beer cans...

If a shit, trash & bug infested apartment center is what your looking for in a great location, then look no further.

Another great perk, there isn't trash pick up service, yet everyone seems to believe their is. So start your morning off right with trash, shit and bugs! Oh and not to mention they have sap trees everywhere that get all over you car.

Stay away!!!!!!!!

“Stay Away - New Mgmt has made this place HORRIBLE!”

I have lived at Uptown Bulkhead since Sept. 2014. For the first 5-6 months, I actually was pleasantly surprised with how good it was, good price, good service, etc. But then the property was bought by a new owner who changed management companies, this is where things have really taken a turn for the worse. Since the new management has taken over, I have encountered issues nearly every week. My AC has broken on average every 12 days over the past 2 months, and multiple times it has taken them 1.5-2.5 days to fix. So just imagine being in an 80 degree apartment in the heat of summer in Atlanta...it's absolutely miserable! I have even had to get a hotel room because I couldn't stand another night in an 80 degree apartment dripping in sweat with my dog panting. So I had to find a hotel room that I could bring a dog to, and pay to stay there despite paying for an apartment to live in. Despite emails, phone-calls, and maintenance requests with extreme urgency, this issue still continues to go on. It hasn't even been acknowledged by management, let alone an apology or any attempt to make up for my additional expense or inconvenience. The parking is ALWAYS terrible here, and residents often have a tough time even finding a spot anywhere close to your apartment. There are also often moving trucks or other cars blocking in entire sections of the parking lot, so you may have to wait 10-15 minutes just trying to pull out of your parking spot. I would NEVER recommend this place.

Great location for getting on/off I-75. Easy/quick/tasty food options. Howell Mill is a little sketchy.

Kinda sorta Buckhead
If you want to live in Buckhead on a budget or be close to the malls, then maybe this location is for you. Unfortunately, it's not really "in" Buckhead in my opinion, as most of the bars/restaurants are a solid 10-15 minute cab ride away with the traffic on Peachtree.

While these condos are a little older, it is a great place to live in the Buckhead area. The area is safe, has a lot of young people and is very central to many things in the city. Restaurants, bars and parks are all within a 5 minute drive. Some things are in walking distance, but probably not the best place for someone who does not have a car.

Great neighborhood!
For anyone who works in Buckhead or who is looking for a great family neighborhood, this is the spot. We loved living hear and got a great house for a reasonable amount of money. You can walk to restaurants and spots for a late night drink. Really awesome!

Peachtree Hills/Lindbergh
great parts of this area: super close to MARTA, charming peachtree hills neighborhood and easy access publix and some shopping. down side: middle of atlanta sprawl and not whole lot is walkable. can be tough to get in/out of this area when piedmont backs up. all in all a good area to live if you work in buckhead

Rented a house in Brookhaven for a year, and it was an incredible location for a family, and someone working in Buckhead; affordable, exceptionally convenient (the town brookhaven development has a publix, a costco, a gym, and a bunch of great restaurants and shops), plus there is a great commercial area on dresden with more places to eat, etc; brookhaven is underrated; I would stay south of oglethorpe, though - beyond that starts to 'feel' far away (if you work in buckhead, in particular)
