“If you value the safety of your loved ones and personal property, look elsewhere for housing”

In the 5 months we have lived here, there have been at least 6 or 7 separate incidents (I've lost count after 5) including car theft/ breaking and entering/broken car windows with stolen belongings/ armed robbery. The most recent multi car incident being on the night of 11/27/15.

Photos of our "security gate" are uploaded in the photo section over on YELP. The main gate has been open for the last 5-6 days straight over the Thanksgiving holiday inviting in the most recent criminals.

Even when closed, there are large sections of the perimeter fence that are open for people to walk around unimpeded. My dog and I can easily crouch down and make our way underneath the 2ft gap underneath the fence.

If you would like to see what the interior of the apartments look like they are very nice as captured by a residents personal home security camera highlighting a recent robbery/home invasion:

Needless to say, we will be leaving promptly at the end of our lease term and praying that none of these crimes happen to us personally in the interim.

see the other poor reviews on YELP and google for additional details... all of which are accurate

“Loud and unsafe”

I have never lived in an apartment where I had to listen to my upstairs neighbor POUND on my ceiling all day long, but here, it's an everyday occurrence. Cheap construction will allow you to enjoy all the noise your rude neighbors have in store for you. I've also never lived at a complex that has so much crime! Home invasions, dozens of car break ins and all you get is a letter that always says "crime has no address" .... ahhhhh yes it does, its called The Reserve Collier Hills!!!!! If you like paying tons of money for an apartment that is loud and comes with constant stress if your car will be there in the morning... this is your place!!! I'm soooooo happy I'm moving out this week!!! Beware!!

Manager at The Reserve Collier Hills responded:

The Reserve at Collier Hills was one of several condo/ apartment buildings in the Atlanta area that was the victim of a recent line of car break-ins. We were fortunate enough to have had fewer break-ins than other upscale buildings in the area. The Reserve has hired nightly patrols to help deter criminal activity in our community. As with all major cities, common sense should be used when living here. Do not leave visible items in your car to encourage thieves. Always lock your car and remove valuables and report any suspicious activity. In almost every instance of this rash of car break-ins, valuables were left in plain view of criminals overnight.

“terrible ”

On Sunday Aug 30th there was a robbery that hit 22 cars. The managers or the corporation as has done nothing to ensure the safety of its residents. Nor is doing anything to reimburse 22 residents that live here. If your planning on moving here DONT this place will rob you of your money and allow high crimes to take place on the property. Then they will act remedial about the situation. The lack of security and customer service here is sad you will be very disappointed if you move here. This is not a good place for the money high price living for hood lifestyle they provide here beware. I warned you proceed with caution.

“Terrible! ”

I fell in love with the built-in Bluetooth speakers but that's about it sad to say... Only lived here for 6 months so far and it's been nothing but issues as far as security is concerned. I was more than sure before any lease was signed they mentioned there was on site patrol but I haven't seen a peace officer or anything similar yet. There's been multiple burglaries, car break ins and vandalism. Just a few days ago 22 cars were broken into, including mine. The call box was inoperable for at least a day or more to allow people who aren't residents into the buildings of the property seemingly with zero effort. It's a little frightening to say the least. For the amount of money they ask of you, I expect more from the management or corporate. One other issue I personally had was since I've been here trash valet has just started when I was told there was trash valet here before I moved. The Place is beautiful but I think some residents that currently live here now would agree it's not worth that price. Only a few more months left I will not look back lol

“Nice, but unsafe for now”

Nice complex, really want to stay, but on the fence about what to do. Me and my girlfriend's cars were broken into on 9/8/15 and were really destroyed. When they didn't find anything, they scratched my girlfriend's new car to pieces with a crowbar. The robbers apparently drove through the security gate, destroying it on the way out. Last week we talked to some other people that had just had their cars busted up also. These were in two different parking areas, both in front (in plain sight of our apartment), and in the secure fenced-in lot. No place is safe here, and we feel trapped by these crimes, hard to relax at night.. Not sure if we should just leave our cars unlocked, or what to do, but living like this stinks.

The complex is run by really nice people, the apartments are very nice, the maintenance guys are helpful, and the pool is amazing. I want to stay, but don't know what to do. Until they come up with a solution, don't consider moving here.

Midtown: Fun, vibrant, growing
Midtown is among the best neighborhoods to live in the city. Everything you could need is an easy walk away. It includes some of the best restaurants and is a short taxi to the Virginia-Highlands, Inman Park or Buckhead.

Great location for getting on/off I-75. Easy/quick/tasty food options. Howell Mill is a little sketchy.

Great Location, but careful about noice
Great location, great price, but be careful about unit. There are a couple of rooms that are by the rail tracks and those can be quite noise

Wellington Buckhead
While these condos are a little older, it is a great place to live in the Buckhead area. The area is safe, has a lot of young people and is very central to many things in the city. Restaurants, bars and parks are all within a 5 minute drive. Some things are in walking distance, but probably not the best place for someone who does not have a car.

Love the area.
Easy walk to midtown and downtown businesses and Piedmont Park. Lots of yummy restaurants and bars nearby.

Living near Piedmont Park is great
Walking distance to a Marta stop or down into the Virginia Highlands, lots of bars and restaurants nearby, plus a huge park to run or relax in. Post Parkside had communal gas grills on a back patio that faced the park, which was an amazing spot for a BBQ almost any time of year. Also a lively LGBT community in the neighborhood.

Great neighborhood!
For anyone who works in Buckhead or who is looking for a great family neighborhood, this is the spot. We loved living hear and got a great house for a reasonable amount of money. You can walk to restaurants and spots for a late night drink. Really awesome!

Peachtree Hills/Lindbergh
great parts of this area: super close to MARTA, charming peachtree hills neighborhood and easy access publix and some shopping. down side: middle of atlanta sprawl and not whole lot is walkable. can be tough to get in/out of this area when piedmont backs up. all in all a good area to live if you work in buckhead
