“Horrible Complex”

Run the complex is very nice and so is the property, however the staff and the management team are way below one star for me on a personal level the complex will charge you a late fee for rent even if you are 1 min late past 12am the fee is $150 if you need maintenance be prepared to wait 4-5 days for someone to come out to your unit if its not an emergency, some of the staff have attitudes google ratings of less then 2 stars, the complex will also charge you for everything they can make money on they are hungry for the money, again they expect rent to be paid on time but when you need help as a resident they ignore you left and right i have been here for years living in 2 units on 1 unit i have lived with a roommate then i moved to my 2 nd unit with someone else and been at current unit for 2 years, as a resident i will not renew my lease here but if you are in search of a good place to live its not here there are several apartments nearby with way better 5 star service. This complex is one of the worst i have ever lived at. Its not worth it period. Dont get me wrong some staff are nice but some are just meant to be stay at home moms and should not work in customer service. I had an issue before also and i called corp offices to file a claim with them about the services they gave me 2 case numbers and i was suppose to get a call from someone let me tell you that call never came in either and that was from corp office. Its like if corp office treats the residents like that, imagine the service you will get from this properties team. Its not worth it trust me. Find alternative living nearby. Also if you have a service animal thats registered know your rights as a pet handler i had to give a formal employee at this complex a card with rights as into what questions someone should ask about a service animal i found out that when i signed my lease and added my service animal the manager was mad because i was not charged the pet deposit and or pet rent. She related a message to the leasing agent to ask me what was the animal used for which is illegal to ask. Its no ones business what the animal is used for as long as you have all the paperwork in hand you should not be asked nothing about your service animal. I have attached a few question and answers for service animal owners.

GENERAL RULES

Q7. What questions can a covered entity's employees ask to determine if a dog is a service animal?

A. In situations where it is not obvious that the dog is a service animal, staff may ask only two specific questions: (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform? Staff are not allowed to request any documentation for the dog, require that the dog demonstrate its task, or inquire about the nature of the person's disability.

Q8. Do service animals have to wear a vest or patch or special harness identifying them as service animals?

A. No. The ADA does not require service animals to wear a vest, ID tag, or specific harness.

Q9. Who is responsible for the care and supervision of a service animal?

A. The handler is responsible for caring for and supervising the service animal, which includes toileting, feeding, and grooming and veterinary care. Covered entities are not obligated to supervise or otherwise care for a service animal.

Great neighborhood! Although Channel 2 did report an alligator was found living in the nearby lake that the city would not remove until it become a danger!
