WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. The management is terrible. I called to ask for my security deposit back and they would constantly ignore my phone calls ,voice mails and emails. More than a month passed when I heard back from the manager Tami who was highly rude about the situation said I was not going to get it back because we didn't have a discussion about it. A couple days later I started getting calls from a collections agency about owing the apartment $2294 and if i didn't pay it would keep going up 6% everyday. I explained to them when I was moving out Tami gave me a call and needed a verbal okay to get someone else in the apartment and mentioned that I would not need to pay any fees or anything that the new person coming to take over the apartment would be in charge of that. So know I get several harassing calls a day from IQ data collections asking me to pay. I dont understand why when I asked for my security deposit back they sent a collections agency after me.I cleaned the apartment and everything didn't break anything.Know I have to deal with these awfully rude people who won't leave me alone and even had me make a go fund me page so they know that I am at least trying to pay them back these people are diving me crazy to the point of suicided. Tami knowing I was depressed about my personal life took advantage of that phone call to take the apartment and unfortunately I didn't get anything she promised in writing. When she did email me about this situation she mentioned I was responsible for this that she had trouble getting someone in the apartment and she had left a letter on the door letting me know that.Which i never got and I asked her when she left that at my door and she said it was after my phone call with her, she saw me multiple days after this and never once brought it up she even stated she had 2-3 people interested in the apartments ans as soon as i moved out they were going to move right in. She lies to cover her ass she acts nice to get a promotion at her job by acting like she care. I find it odd that when you want to rent she follows up with you rather quickly asking you to quickly sign the lease. She had on my lease that I was suppose to move in at the end of March when I was not even there and when I was suppose to move in on April 1 she didn't want me coming that day because it was easter and she wanted to spend time with her family. So I moved my 20 hour drive to be there on April 2. The apartment unit when I got it was not even in good shape the floor had holes and the carpet was stained. The bathroom tub had mold and took them about 4 days to come take a look at it. The door had cracks and was broken. I would look else where to live.

“The Onyx Apartments Las Vegas ”

I wish I could give no stars! There are no pros to this place. Looks nice but the management and services suck, I've lived here for some time now and when the onyx changed their management about a year ago this is when things got real ugly, nasty, and rude. The first manager was very nice, but the tenants personal information came up missing. The second manager was very nice, but she had to move to a different property. The third manager that's currently the manager at the Onyx, is very rude, and disrespectful. On top of this she racially discriminates, most minorities are moving due to the fact she cant get along with other races of people. Shes neglected many work orders, and parks in the handicap. Now rude is this ? Do not move here, she will treat you like a piece of trash, giving you heads up

“Searched All Over VEGAS--This is the BEST PLACE near UNLV and the STRIP”

This apartment is just amazing! It is like being in a four-five star boutique hotel! There is a pool, jacuzzi, weight room, sun-deck with a fireplace, lounging couches by the pool and a grill. There is underground parking with security, and security entrances to the garage, the building and the pool area. Everything the flooring, cabinets, sinks, appliances, lighting, double sinks, great shower-head, and nice layout. The location is fantastic for being in this location and with these features. The management is extremely professional and yet cordial. LOVE IT! Cons: There are airplanes from the airport in the area. Your minor maintenance may have to wait for more urgent ones. It is a small distance from certain types of stores.

This place is a joke, you play a lot of money for nothing except location, apartment bad condition over 100 cracked floor tiles, bad plumbing, cabinets and doors warped and cracked etc etc. Not security at all, homeless jumping the fence washing their cloths in pool and sleeping on the furniture. Other people jumping the fence using the pool that do not live here. All they want is your money and give nothing in return will not spend a dime if they do not have to. The pool has been closed numerous times by the health dept. but not enough. Would not recommend living here unless you have a lot of money and just need a place to sleep by the strip.

Pretty glad I am leaving this place. The first few months were ok but then it became bad. Management ignored maintenance requests, plumbing is horrible if you live on the top floor, ignored a moth infestation, and today I get a letter stating my SSN, bank account, and ID information were stolen.

What a joke! Stay away!
