“Don’t move here”

Literally the worst apartment experience I’ve ever had. You pay way too much for a shit apartment. They’re small and only some of them are updated while others are old and worn down looking. (I experienced both) Either way you pay waaaay too much and no utilities are included it’s just added on top of your ridiculous rent price. Also Was doing construction pretty much the whole duration of me living there, which was 2 years and change. There’s no sense of community and the people who live there aren’t the best. Also, the office staff are ridiculous and rude. Had my apartment broken into, they flipped my apartment upside down and ruined my window screen. Had renters insurance and it didn’t even cover replacing the fuckin screen! Like, what is the point of having it then? On top of that, they didn’t even give me leeway for rent as it was late because whoever broke into my apartment stole the majority of my rent money I had saved. So, on top of my apartment being broken into and my shit stolen I had to pay mad late fees. Oh and don’t forget the best part of the 60 day notice, make sure to give them that or you’re screwed into paying rent even when you’ve signed into or bought another place.

People also let their dogs shit wherever and don’t clean it up as well as leave their trash everywhere. Just don’t move here, whatever you do. This place is literal trash.

“Good and not so good.”

There is a lovely mix of tenants, young and old, hipsters and young families. Very diverse community. A few hiccups lately with the Drug dealer murder but thats been forgotten. We have no security and NO utilities are paid. Currently there is a wonderful cacophony of construction going on. The upstairs apts no longer have awnings and when it rains the water gushes from the lack of rain gutters and when the sun shines there is no protection from the sun beating down on your bedroom windows. The lovely soccer field and basketball courts are no longer usable due to construction/demolition of the wall around it. The parking lot was recently resurfaced but is now getting torn up by construction dumpsters and trucks that take up parking. As far as Management is concerned the Boss Lady could give a rats a** about tenants. She rarely leaves the office except to smoke and share her contempt for people. The convenience of marketing and restaurants is a real plus and being pet friendly is a good thing. We realize that at the rate they are raising the rents (100 dollars a month for a 13 month lease) we won't be able to stay in our home of 17 years after 2018. That's a shame. Hopefully all the money they are grabbing from the current tenants will make future tenants happy. If they ever complete this never ending construction.
