Shadow Ridge is set under many oak and pine trees and thus has a very soothing, shaded atmosphere. Although it borders a busy street, it feels secluded. Shadow Ridge and Summer Hills are leased by the same company and of the the two, Shadow Ridge is preferable. Pros include: Units include fireplaces and washer/dryers. Shaded grounds with lots of trees. Good location and within walking distance of stores and restaurants. The entrance is within a neighborhood and allows plenty of street parking. On the down side, borders a busy street. Amenities are somewhat lacking: pool is average at best and the gym, tennis court and basketball court are housed at Summer Hills which is down the street. Appliances are a little old. Tips: Rooms are a little larger than those of Summer Hills. Also, 2nd floor units have vaulted ceilings.
