RentLingo Editor's Review
We sent a former property manager to investigate

This is a new construction property still being built that offers 1,2, and 3 bedroom units in three-story buildings. The exterior is tan with brown accents and a red tile roof. There are some natural stone accents throughout the community. The landscaping has new growth and is a combination of desert and tropical atmospheres. The interiors are incredible with wood flooring, granite countertops, dark cabinets, plush carpets in bedrooms, and stainless steel appliances. Pros include: This is an amazing community overall. The best highlights of the community are the new carpet and flooring, along with every other aspect of the community being new. The large fitness center has the most modern equipment and also offers spin and yoga classes on site. The resort style pool area is very large and has beautiful covered gazebos with bar areas and large flat screen televisions. The atmosphere outdoors is more beautiful with the outdoor fireplaces and fire pits. The size of the units is spacious and offers large walk-in closets. On the down side, there are very few concerns, this is a luxury brand new community and has the price point to match. The new construction will be going on through the f... read more

To the North on Priest is Warner, which is next to Ikea, and many other stores, including some fast food locations and a few restaurants. To the east is Priest which has some open fields and commercial properties. To the south are ranch style homes and a canal runs to the west with some commercial properties next to it such as hotels.

“RUNNNNN”

HORRIBLE! These "luxury" rentals aren't so luxury. The management for san sonoma mark taylor are sickening human beings. First of all, they have staff that live on site that watch the other tenants. No privacy what so ever. maintenance will come into your home unannounced. Talk about racism and discrimination in 2016, TUH! The manager is never at the office doing work and cannot be reach. The staff do not know anything, very unprofessional. They will terminate your lease over one complaint and will not work with you. Even the other tenants are a living hell. The price is too RIDICULOUS for the BS this place will bring to your life. If you want to come home to a peace of mind, DO NOT LIVE HERE!!

“Incredible!”

From the moment that I toured the property for the first time to move in to now enjoying my new home, I don't have a single negative thing to say. First off, the staff is lovely. They have been nothing but kind and helpful. After the first week, I received a call from them making sure that I was happy and did I need anything. Great customer service. The apartment is beautiful. I don't hear my neighbors and even though there is still ongoing construction, I can barely hear it. The grounds are beautiful and for a dog-friendly community, it's really clean. I have 2 dogs and need to walk them at night. The lighting makes me feel very safe. I know that I'm supposed to list pros AND cons, so after a lot of thought, here's my con. I just wish that the parking spaces would be a bit wider. I have a two door car so my door is wide. If my neighbor's car is too close to the line, I sometimes have a hard time getting in or out. If that's the worst of it, I'm good. San Sonoma is a wonderful property.

“Waste of money! ”

If I could give a half a star I would. Too many faults to name. They want an arm and a leg for rent, yet this is faaaarrrr from luxury living! A couple of the ladies that work there are so rude, as if they are hormonal EVERYDAY! The professionalism is non existence! And please don't ask Josh ANYTHING. He barely can tell you his name! I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemies!

“Will Not Recommend”

Aside from the terrible management that can not even shut the gate at night, we have had cops come out here at least five times in the six months that I have lived here. I have heard screaming fights in the parking lot in the early hours of the morning and management looks the other way on everything except the money that they need from you. The girls that run the office must still be in college because they just do not seem to care. The gates stay open all night long, I have seen homeless people sleeping in the buildings that aren't fully built yet and on multiple occasions management has forgotten to turn on the lights at the front gate for the night. Just terrible all around.

“Just ok”

Loved here for three months and are very unhappy with management. They have some young ASU grads rubbing the office who can't even manage to close the gates at night. Almost every night they have stayed open making the "gated community" an open one. Multiple times I've seen homeless people walking on the grounds. The hot tubs are already disgusting and they have one pool for a community that will house over a thousand people. The fireplaces near the pool never work and after multiple complaints, nothing has been fixed. Management overall is a joke here but the worst is probably the type of people living here. Screaming children running around the pool at night and people smoking near the pool despite the "smoke free community" signs everywhere. Management is more than happy to advise you if rent is one hour late but won't fix the real problems with the community. I won't be renting from Mark Taylor in the future.
