“Learn from our mistakes”

We moved into the Montclair in July 2016 because of the proximity to the medical center for a two year fellowship. DO NOT MOVE HERE. There are better properties that will not drive you insane (ie. the Orion and the Euclid).

Do not trust this company - do not communicate with them in person or over the phone. Document everything with email b/c they are dishonest and just want your money. They depend on rapid turnover w trainees at Wash U.

Personal Safety Concerns

1. Resident robbed at gunpoint through front door in lobby, WHILE STAFFED.

2.Recent murder of cab driver at north lot of Montclair.

3. Backdoor fob entry often broken - staff solution: post-it notifying it is broken and propping the door open despite homeless in back alley and above.

4. Sherry Floyd-Ivicsics, most recent property managers - claiming that the master key for our apartment was missing and requesting my personal key to copy at Home Depot, despite notices that maintenance had recently been in our apartment.

5. Recently overcharged $500/mo on top of rent because they lost our lease extension. They are claiming (despite multiple phone/in-person conversations/emails) that we have no records of actual lease because 'Lisa Sotalar' stopped working in their office and hence will not give us our excess charges. LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKE.

Document everything in email/writing with MAC properties. They are thieves and slum lords.
