“Beware of this building”

We have lived here in the compleax for almost 6 months

The first week my husband and I moved in I kept calling maintenance complaining of a strong gas smell in the unit.

The maintenance manger kept telling me it was nothing, and said he didn’t smell anything.

Thank god I called the gas company! Again and again and again!!!!!

In less than 5 months here we had over 5 gas leaks in a one bedroom apartment!

After waiting for the gas Co for over 2 hours on New Years Eve, the former manager offered us another apartment at a higher rent, we did decline. Who’s to say there isn’t a problem in the whole complex.

Finally we called them out again for a strong smell last Friday night, which is the 6th time!

And we decided enough! This is crazy we have to get out of this complex!

So instead of apologies and trying to reimburse us for our move in, stress, and having to look for another apartment building in the area, the new manager has some how turned this around and is trying to hold us up in this horrible state of an apartment.

We have never lived in these conditions, let alone we have not been contacted by IMT corporate

We are just trying to get out of here and we are at the mercy of a manger who started a job here a week ago!

Horrible teanant relations!

Horrible building! Everything negative you read about IMT Beverly Arnaz is true- from homeless people living in the stairwells to disturbed tenants kicking and threatening neighbors. Do some research before signing a lease here- you will quickly realize how bad it is. Also, Larry is a useless manager- the managers at McDonald's can do a better job. Seriously, don't make the mistake of moving here.

This is the worst apartment building in all of Beverly Hills. I am a current resident and there is a homeless man living in the building!! He has been living in the hall on one of the floors for weeks now, he is there every single night and management has not and will not do anything, they are useless. Residents have even called the cops on him and all the cops do is kick him off the premises. But then he comes back right after. Do not live here, the building is dirty and never taken care of. Way to expensive for what you get. Long story short management sucks!!!

CONS-useless management, filthy ventilation, active drug transactions with non-tenants within the building, no security (the cameras don't work, and there's no security watching or reviewing footage), "renovations" that can't be classified as upgrades by any means, plastic uneven laminate "wood" panel flooring, no working thermostat settings for both HVAV and fridge, "work orders" take weeks or months & are often "lost" "missing" "or claimed to have been serviced", no reimbursement for malfunctions or broken fixtures/appliances, hot water is scarce, toilet location is cramped, no working bathroom ventilation, carpet is such poor quality it's impossible to professional clean & keep clean, dog poop all over sidewalk smeared in walkways, concentrated smell of dog urine, no guest parking, no lighted sidewalk, 50/50 chance your packages will be stolen, management does nothing for stolen property, media center printer never has paper or ink, interior apt. Lights burn out weekly, lots of blown fuses. Tenants whose fire alarm goes off for ANY reason, will sound the Entire building alarm & can only be turned off by fire department. Neighboring employees from businesses ALL take their smoking breaks directly infront of IMT along retainer wall in shade, smoke will get into your apt., gym equip is half broken. Dog poop irresponsibly placed in mail room vs. Trash room. Tenants allow kids to scream, dogs to bark 24/7, and trash to pile up outside units in hallways!

Wilshire Corridor
Wilshire Corridor is great in terms of being centrally located in the city (near the 405, the 10, Century City, and Beverly Hills). Cons are that there isn't a ton of stuff in walking distance and the residents tend to be older. Most of the buildings are top-notch, full-service, which is hard to find elsewhere in LA.

West Hollywood, or WeHo, provides with a unique opportunity to enjoy the LA city life without driving long distances in order to get to the main point of interest. Cafes, gyms, bars of all (all!) kinds and some of the most amazing restaurants in California (some of them open 24/7!) are all withing walking distance.

Century City is like "new downtown" Lots of tall modern sky scrapers and largely commercial. Not many people "live" here though, so be mindful that at night it's a ghost town.
