Gables Post Oak is a newly built complex in the center of Galleria, Uptown, and River Oaks area. The complex offers luxury interior and exterior amenities to residents, and its prime location gives residents easy access to many areas of Houston. Pros include: The complex offers numerous luxury interior and exterior amenities to residents. Residents have access to a lap length salt water pool with plenty of lounging chairs surrounding the pool. There is an outdoor terrace with beautiful views of the pool area and the Galleria and Uptown neighborhoods. This terrace also includes a fire pit, lounging chairs, and a bar area, convenient for entertaining guest. Inside, on the same floor, there is a free Wi-Fi enabled Business Center with computers for free use. Next to the Business Center is a spacious and comfortable community room with several flat screen TVs and couches. Inside the apartments are wood laminated floors in the living room and kitchen areas, stainless steel kitchen appliances, and marble countertops. Gables Post Oak is conveniently located in the heart of the Galleria, Uptown, and River Oaks area, near San Felipe Street, and highways 610 and 59. The complex is located just blocks away from Target, and other popular shopping, dining, and entertainment options. However, its location is away from the busy streets and is set off from nearby street noise.
No where's to park. I agree
I gave Gables Post Oak 1 star because of the parking situation and some recent changes. The parking garage is a nightmare and it's very hard to get a parking spot on the level that you live on and instead of having reserved parking for their residents they are charging $100.00 a month to reserve a spot. There are very limited handicap places and now this has caused the parking situation worse for people that need to park on their level. Next they are starting "valet trash" $25.00 a month when you add or renew your lease, the halls stink all the time already so regardless of how strict they are it will stink, the halls do not have enough ventilation for this. I feel like Gables Post Oak is trying to increase their profits by taking advantage of their residents. I'm not someone to normally write reviews but hopefully this will give someone inside info to consider before leasing. I've tried to reach out to the office twice but unfortunately I didn't get any help.
