“Read this before signing a contract so you know.”

Before signing a contract here you need to know up front a few facts about management:

If you want to move in with specific friends that is not guaranteed by the office that signs the contract with you. If you "request" a room before signing a contract that does not bind them to give you that room. In my girlfriend's experience, she signed a contract, requested a specific room with two of her friends. It was a six girl apartment and 8 girls made requests for the room and so they automatically relocated my girlfriend and one of her friends to an apartment out of that ward. When we went to management to talk about it they told us there was nothing they could do other then move her to a third apartment.

Something else to take into consideration, when you go to sign, look at who is actually signing the e-contract, if possible ask who that signer is. That signer is neither the owner or the manager, he is an assistant employee who they've decided to let sign away his name on all the contracts. In reality he has no power in the contract, if you ask him for help he doesn't know the answers to questions and will send you to the lovely property manager named Veronica.

Veronica is a ray of sunshine. (Obviously this is sarcasm) When we tried to talk with her about the issue she got irate and wouldn't talk to us, she flat out refused to talk to me when she was disrespecting my girlfriend because I h

“This is the worst place on Earth”

I'm so disgusted with this place. Management is terrible. Parking is stupid. I've already had two roommates get stuff stolen out of their cars. Management is greedy. They are strict on the cleaning checks and when you fail, they charge you for a cleaning crew that doesn't even come, they just pocket your sixty dollars. This place is infested with bugs and mold. I've killed five spiders this morning, and it's only 8:30. These are large, brown, dangerous looking spiders. I've also found earwigs, beetles, flies, and centipedes. They literally crawl in and out of the walls. They must be eating the radioactive mold in the walls because they are getting really big. I have complained about the mold, and literally I was told, "yeah, that just happens here and it's to be expected." Gross! The furniture sucks, the carpet is the nastiest, and the ward is lame. The pool is the part they seem to care about the most. Most of the time it is overrun by dozens of children from the local ghetto. They are extremely loud and management just ignores them. There are paper thin walls.

“Live Here!”

My roommates found this place last year and I tagged along and signed a contract before even seeing the place. It was awesome! Not only is it extremely affordable, but they take good care of you. I lived at another apartment (supposedly classier) but besides the awful internet and so-so living conditions, they also had terrible customer service. However, the staff at Centennial really takes care of you and is so respectful. Maintenance always follow up quickly on requests and the receptionists are always so helpful.

“Great apartments all around”

I've loved these apartments so far. Every place has good points and bad but the goods far outweigh the bads. The management here is amazing. They are always willing to help and are very kind and courteous. I moved here from Liberty Square where the management didn't bother to lift a finger for any tenants. It makes a huge difference. The apartments are a little bit older but everything is kept in good condition. The water gets hot fast and there is central air which is nice. The internet speed is really good which has been a huge selling point for me since I'm on the computer a lot with my classes. There is a pool and a hot tub the latter of which stays open pretty much year round. The laundry machines are a little more expensive than other places but they work so I think it's worth it. Really the only qualm I have with this place is that it seems like they were designed for really short people. The counters are kind of low and the shower heads are really low. I'm pretty tall but it's kind of ridiculous. I've gotten used to it so not a deal breaker for me. Overall I would say go for it. Can't beat fast internet and good management, not to mention a great ward!

“Good Place to Live”

I have lived in many places around campus, including in a condo, apartments, and on-campus housing. This is the only place I have re-signed. I felt that this was the best fit for me. It is social without being filled with airheads (in my experience) and has a nice relaxed feel. Bit of a walk to campus.

There are two bathrooms, which is NICE. The heater does its job. The walk-out porch is really great to have in the summer. The swimming pool is well-maintained. The sidewalks are usually kept clear in the winter. There is a fair amount of storage space in the kitchen, but many people bring in shelves to expand it.

The parking can get tough, especially in the winter when the lines disappear under a sheet of ice that stays until March. The rent, especially for a year-round contract, was competitive. The laundry facilities are clean and pretty well-maintained (sometimes the money machine is finicky...and you have to use a laundry card to use the machines).

“Compared to the rest, really good”

I have lived at Centennial for two years, during which Centennial changed managers. PROS: Great wards, amazing Bishops, excellent stake presidency. Apartments are well maintained, each with two bathrooms. Maintenance men are amazing and do a great job! Centennial is also close to quite neighborhoods that are excellent for jogging. CONS: not enough parking with narrow spots. They chopped down all of their large, beautiful trees for some new relandscaping scheme. There is no emergency maintenance phone #. There is also a level of bureaucracy now with the new managers. Parking lot this past winter was never plowed/salted!

“Great place to live!”

There is usually good parking, a functioning BBQ, a great pool and year-round hot tub.

My ward is the best I've been in, not a lot of social division, with a good mix of pre-mis and RM's both guys and girls, with a wide range of ages as well. It's close enough to campus to walk, and VERY close to Golds Gym, Little Caesars, Taco Bell (all of the essentials). We are also next door to the multi-stake building that we use often (and it has a huge parking lot). Rent is cheap, and maintenance is excellent! Paint, carpet, furniture is always taken care of quickly. It's all easy to clean. The rooms are a little smaller than many, but thats about the the downfall I can think of. Come live here!

“Great apartments”

People here are very friendly, outgoing and fun. Local singles ward meets very close and has a high marriage turnover. I'm sure you will love it, I've been at BYU for four years, and this is the best housing I've lived in- and I've lived at 3 different places! It has a microwave, dishwasher, two bathrooms, a heated pool, a Jacuzzi hot tub, recreation room with flat screen TV, Ping Pong, pool, and piano, laundry washers and dryers, available ON THE PREMISES, Picnic area, outside BBQ grill, internet and cable, and outside balconies on all apartments.

“I love Centennial :)”

I have lived at Centennial for two years now and LOVE the down-to-earth people who find their way here. I have ward shopped other places but would never consider anywhere else. The age range is varied, so you don't have to worry about not fitting in. Everyone is inclusive and inviting. The Bishop is FANTASTIC and the stake president is super involved and will soon become your new best friend. We live right next to Little Caesars' if you need a quick meal, across the street is the church Multi-stake building, and next door is the Gold's Gym for the health conscious. Parking is hardly ever a problem, even if you get home really late. The apartments are GREAT. And we are right by Seven Peaks, so our stake always has the coolest activities.

“Always a parking spot!”

I know that finding a parking spot can be a big pain in most places in Provo, but there is always a parking spot in the Centennial designated parking lot for tenants. It's a perfect ward--just enough socializing to get to know people and make friends, but not too much so I feel left out if I can't go to everything.

If nothing caught your eye, don't be worried. Search for more apartments for rent in Provo.
Not the area you're looking for? We must've missed the mark. Don't worry we have plenty of apartments for rent nationwide.
