“Great location.beautiful community ”

Move here in April this year from east coast, walking distance to the ocean, restaurants. Pike oulets, convention center, Apartments in good shape. Maintenance very friendly and fast. Highly recommend

“Overpriced, Overrated, Odoriferous”

i'm paying over 2K a month to have a homeless encampment for my view. the hallway and elevator are musty with dogs urine and cigarettes smoke. i sleep with earplugs and a pillow over my head but that still didn't help with the dogs barking and loud music. the walls are paper thin...

“Renter Beware, You'll be paying to upgrade their apartment when you move out.”

Apartment 3403 (2 Bed, 2 Bath + “Loft”) from December 2017 to March 2018. Gilbert Duenez told us “The loft is the same size as one of the rooms.” This was a blatant lie; the loft is 1/3 the size of the bedroom. My roommate and I were living out of an Airbnb, and they didn’t have an open same floor plan apartment for us to see, so I guess that’s our fault in trusting Camden.

Throughout the year 2 things were clear:

1. Camden residents don’t respect their neighbors, dog piss in the halls and elevators on a weekly basis, management doesn’t do anything to fix this issue.

2. Camden replaced carpet of apartments at least 2-3 times a month our entire stay.

We kept our apartment clean and did not have any pets (dogs, cats, otherwise). When we moved out, we were shocked to have a bill to replace the apartments carpet for “heavy urine damage” note: the company they use to manage carpet cleaning and inspection has a terrible reputation.

When we asked for proof from Gilbert Duenez, he was dismissive and said: “a lot of guests have undisclosed pets.” Rather than being amicable, we received a letter from a collection agency to settle the remaining bill.

Our only assumption is Camden doesn't value their residents, something proven time and time again during our stay, and likes to pass the costs of their mistakes onto residents trying to leave.

“Do not move here”

I currently live here. My air conditioner broken down Saturday, on Sunday a maintenance guy comes over and checkes the breakers, he say AC is broken, we will get someone out tomorrow. Monday I come home to a note that says my kitchen sink drain is clear. The office says it might be tomorrow or the next day before a tech is out. Tuesday I come home to a note they need to order a part and will return Wednesday or Thursday.

I go to the office who tells the part was installed on Monday.

I can overlook the smell of human urine in stairways, the smell of pet urine on the perimeter, the lack of lighting in stairways but I want ny ac to work. If I wanted to live somewhere where maintenance did not get done timely, I would live elsewhere and save myself money on rent.
