“PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS”

This is the ABSOLUTE worst place I have EVER lived at. I live on the 4th floor and have had to take the stairs for the past 3 months due to the elevator being broken. Alpine Village REFUSES to fix it. This is abhorring. I am in and out of my apartment 10x a day, and taking the stairs from the parking garage to the top floor has been TERRIBLE. I PLEAD WITH YOU TO AVOID LIVING IN ANY RESIDENCE MANAGED BY THIS COMPANY. ALPINE VILLAGE AND REDSTONE RESIDENTIAL ARE ABSOLUTE JOKES. PLEASE IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING MOVING HERE DO NOT DO IT. I WILL PERSONALLY TALK TO YOU IN PERSON TO TALK YOU OUT OF IT. They absolutely have refused to discount rent, or off any type of compensation. The only information they have given us has pretty much said "we know its broken, we are not working on fixing it". This is a huge slap to my face and my manhood. AVOID ALPINE VILLAGE AT ALL COSTS.

“Elevator and parking suck”

Unmarked parking spots can get you tickets so be careful where you park they are unwilling to work with you to help. The elevator has been broken on the men’s side for 2 months with no end in sight. STAY AWAY.

“DONT LIVE HERE”

Management is the worst I’ve ever experinced. They are unwilling to work with you on anything and are rude and inconsiderate even when it is their fault. They will try to squeeze every dime out of you. It’s not worth it AT ALL!! The apartments aren’t as nice and you at first think and you can easily find a better place for how much money you’re paying. Utilities are very expensive some months and parking is insane. I would not recommend to anyone!!

“Management will rob you”

Worst management there is. They lie over and over again and they don’t know what they are doing half of the time. There is always massive hidden fees that they tell you there isn’t going to be. I had proof through an email about how much I would be getting back and how much things cost and they still refused to pay me the correct amount when moving out. Utilities is always through the roof as well. I payed over 90$ alone one month and they refused to show me documentation when I asked why it was so high. I also got double charged for utilities when I moved out and they refused to give me a month back. They are also very rude at times and treat you like your easily replaceable. I would never ever move back here due to the management. The living might be nice but the management is terrible and clueless.

“Worst place in Provo-STAY AWAY”

I want to steer anyone away from this place. Seriously FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE. The day I moved in the place was a disaster. TV was upside down, trash EVERYWHERE, the carpets were filthy, and so were the rooms. I went to the office and they said it would be three days until they could clean it. Three days came, no one cleaned the apartment. I went in to the office again and they sent someone the next day. All they did was pick up some trash and vacuum a little. I was so fed up I deep cleaned the entire place myself. Parking is a nightmare as well! They are impossible to work with and you will have to deal with all kinds of pointless fees. They decided to do some "remodeling" and had painters come in, mask everything off and then spray the entire place. There was overspray everywhere! The carpet, lights you name it. We were promised new couches earlier in the year and they never showed up, you get charged cleaning fees for NOTHING because they don't clean anything. They also are going to make you pay your first month up front and then move out halfway through your last month. I'm now getting charged 70 dollars for turning my keys in after office hours because I have to work late. I wasn't even notified of this until yesterday afternoon. All in all they overcharge and throw fees at you constantly. The most greedy place I've ever lived in.

“Not Recommended”

WARNING: Prepare to be nickel and dimed. Seriously, I was skeptical about the negative reviews surrounding this place, but THEY ARE VERY REAL. You pay for everything, including your roommates' utilities if you're one of the unlucky ones (I was). When you approach the office with financial questions/concerns you will have to spend a lot of time working with them trying take the charges off of your account, but if you're persistent you might get lucky. If they overcharge you and you pay, don't expect to get that money back, because you won't. They will even charge you for cleaning that doesn't need to be done. Please do not live here!

“Worst Management Ever”

I have lived here for 8 months so far I have had to put in several maintenance requests because strange things keep happening like the shower curtain rods fall down, the living room blinds keep breaking and I realized its because they were taped, and one time even my oven stopped working. This place is very ghetto for being so expensive. You will not get what you pay for.

“Why is this the ONLY negative review? Seems fishy to me.”

I was somewhat clueless when I was shopping for apartments, so hopefully I can help someone else out who is in the same position I was in last year. First of all, Alpine Village is a very "nice" place to live. I say "nice" because that's how it looks. It's a very appealing complex with lots of amenities and perks for residents. Honestly, for the location to BYU, I-15, shopping, the hospital, etc, it is a great price for where it is at. Unfortunately, under scrutiny, it falls far short of expectations and promises. I have three major issues: shoddy construction, noise, and internet speeds. The apartments look nice, but corners were definitely cut to save money. All of the doors are hung using two hinges instead of three. Eventually the start to sag. My front door leaked like a sieve and during the winter, it got very cold in the front rooms. My bedroom door has almost ripped completely off of the frame. And don't even try to put one of those shoe racks on the door... It WILL fall. The noise is also a big issue. This is partially a design problem, but it's still a problem. With stone-fascia walls and a concrete courtyard, you can here everything (and I do mean everything) that goes on in the courtyard. I wish my unit faced the road instead. There are constantly parties being held, even during the week, that go on until 2 or 3 am! And this may not bother other people, but the internet speed are horrible. DO NOT RENT HERE!

“Great parking”

Parking, nice apartments, and a gym. Basically, though it may be a little more expensive per month, you get a far better deal than most other complexes in the area for what you're getting.

Updated apartments! I also like the breakfasts on the day of cleaning checks, much better incentive than a lot of other apartment complexes I've been in.
