Midtown: Fun, vibrant, growing
Midtown is among the best neighborhoods to live in the city. Everything you could need is an easy walk away. It includes some of the best restaurants and is a short taxi to the Virginia-Highlands, Inman Park or Buckhead.

Perfect in-town neighborhood
Inman Park is an incredible place to live. Close to downtown, Midtown, the Highlands, and both major interstates (75/85 and 20). It has a residential area feel but is still convenient to all major parts.

Great neighborhood - walk to almost everything
VaHi is a great neighbor that works for single, marrieds, young families, and well, pretty much everyone. If you're going to live in Atlanta, make the most of it and live in this historic neighborhood that combines quiet streets and lots of trees with easy walking access to great restaurants, bars, shops, and Piedmont Park. we love it here.

Candler Park/Lake Claire
This is a great neighborhood for being outdoors--lots of great parks and running areas, plus a short walk to several restaurants and coffee shops. I would recommend this area for young couples/families or for those who want to rent/buy a house since there aren't many apartment complexes around. Not an easy commute to Buckhead though!

St. Charles and Highland
I think this area is the best place for young professionals to live in Atlanta. You're close to many fun bars, shops, and restaurants, and the neighborhood is perfect for running and walking. You're also close to Piedmont Park/Midtown and a short drive from Buckhead. It can be hard to find apartment/condos here with lots of amenities, and if you do, you will likely pay quite a bit for them.

Great mid-point between Highlands and Midtown
Living on Monroe Drive on the west side of Va-Highlands neighborhood was a great place. It offered the walkability of a Highlands location, but it was also only a mile down 10th street from Midtown spots. Also, Piedmont Park and Park Tavern was right across the street!

Highland Walk apartments
"This apartment complex is close to the Inman Park area, which is a great neighborhood for running/walking and for dining (Highland Bakery, Fritti, etc. are delicious). Also very close to I-85 access, which makes it easy to get to the airport or up to Buckhead. I wouldn't walk around by myself at night though!"

Great Location, but careful about noice
Great location, great price, but be careful about unit. There are a couple of rooms that are by the rail tracks and those can be quite noise

Love the area.
Easy walk to midtown and downtown businesses and Piedmont Park. Lots of yummy restaurants and bars nearby.

Living near Piedmont Park is great
Walking distance to a Marta stop or down into the Virginia Highlands, lots of bars and restaurants nearby, plus a huge park to run or relax in. Post Parkside had communal gas grills on a back patio that faced the park, which was an amazing spot for a BBQ almost any time of year. Also a lively LGBT community in the neighborhood.
