We sent a former property manager to investigate

Cityside Crossing is a large, three story, fully gated community that appears modern and clean. The exterior has been newly painted and the grounds are well groomed and nicely maintained. The community does not offer property amenities like pool, gym or clubhouse but they do offer huge and spacious floor plans. The floor plans make great use of space with large bay windows that give lots of natural light. The kitchen and living room has new laminate wood floors, while the rest of the home is carpeted. There is a large laundry closet with storage and a full size washer/dryer included and the rest of the home has tons of storage. Pros include: Spacious, clean interiors with tons of storage. Units include a full sized washer/dryer with large closet. The wood laminate flooring is nice and the large bay windows give great lighting. There are huge walk in closets with shelving units. The property is gated with remote access and has ample parking. On the down side, there are no amenities like gym, pool or clubhouse. There is no patio or outside storage. The kitchen and bath cabinets are dated looking. The property is surrounded by vandalized, vacant buildings. The Metro Rail runs directly ... read more

About The Location
We sent a former property manager to investigate

The community is located a block from 610 freeway. There is a new Metro Rail being installed right in front of the property that will provide direct access to Downtown Houston. Unfortunately the property neighbors some unsightly apartments and Kings Flea Market which has homeless people loitering about. The location is convenient to Texas med Center and a few minutes from Downtown Houston and two major universities and it also provides direct access to two major freeways.

Cons: NOT SAFE. My neighbor was murdered, my roommate's car was stolen, my guest's car was broken into, there was a break-in attempt, packages got stolen, all within less than 2 years. Authorities did little to nothing to improve security, but tries to cover it up. They will say " the past 2 years i've worked here, I did't hear anything bad happening" - you can call them rn before they see it and everyone will read the same script, even the security.

Also, the cargo train passing next to the apartments at random times at night will give you anxiety attacks when they blow their horns, the apartments even shake too!

Pros: Maintenance is swift; they do good work too.

“Stay away from these apartments”

I am a current tenant here in these apartments..

I wouldn't advise anyone to move into these apartments..

New Management sucks Terry which is the onsite manager is very sorry !!

as of Easter Sunday which was April of this year I experienced a rodent problem

I'm currently still going through..

I told the management

Terry and she tell me she have no proof that there is a rodent in my unit ..

I asked for corporates number she refused to give it to me she refused to move me in another unit or allow me to get out of my lease without it going against me..

I refuse to pay my rent for June so they filed eviction against me I'm supposed to stay in my unit until my court date..

Terry the manager have Erica who works under her to place some letter in my unit stating that they will be locking me out until rent is paid..

what was the purpose of filing an eviction I have currently left a message hoping that Emily Akins will help me and come and look at all these rat traps that's in my unit and I'm seeking an attorney for help as well..

this is very unsanitary I cannot turn off my lights because rats move around at night..

I wouldn't advise anyone to move here these apartments has really gone down and I also have pictures of the rat droppings in my dresser drawers all of the rat traps in my unit ..
