Good Old Wilson Square
I loved this area. It was close enough to walk to both Porter and Davis, but was out of the way. I frequented Tacos Lupita quite often, along with that Starbucks. I would gladly move back to the Ville.

Great for families!
Chestnut Hill is located between Brookline and Newton, MA. It's very suburban, but is connected to the greater Boston area via the T. There is no parking on street for many blocks, which can be challenging during snow storms. Great grocery stores and mall (best Macy's I've been to)! Very short drive to i95, which is key. Unfortunately, the major street in Chestnut Hill is Rte 9 which can have a lot of traffic. Also home to the smaller and more delicious Oiishi!

Lovely place
Great apartment, great price, really beautiful neighborhood near the Charles. Darwin's is nearby as well which is a great place.

Love this place!
Adorable house with front and back porch, backyard, sweet kitchen and pantry. Street is very cute, generally a great neighborhood. I'd recommend checking out for breakfast Soundbyte Cafe on Broadway as well as Johnny's. YUM.

Huron & Concord Ave
Great place to live if you don't mind a firehouse two blocks away. Convenience store directly across street and inside the store there is a kick-ass affordable cafe towards the back. Daily specials, delicious wraps and full-on entrees, and quick service too. Dry Cleaners steps away. and adjacent to the Cleaners is a overpriced neighborhood Breakfast/Lunch spot called Hi-Rise Bread Co. Be prepared to be met with snobbery. the workers aren't particularly warm. But then again, no one is in Boston...

Porter Square
Fun, young area, although more happening in central, davis, and the city.

Davis Sq
Fun area but quite a hike from the city. Good, young vibe for people working in cambridge or going to tufts

Living near/at HBS
Lived on HBS campus: pretty convenient walk into Cambridge, feels safe. Warning: it's a bit of a food desert at night. Cab stand & zipcar on campus reduce the need for a car. Great running & bike path along the river.

Brookline Village
"Likes: -tree-lined streets -small parks everywhere -underrated restaurant scene -great running nearby and access to the Charles for longer runs Dislikes: -Green Line is brutal -virtually never went to cambridge because the bus takes so long"
