I normally don't do things like this but I am now. I am just beside myself. If you ever think about living at Century Galleria Lofts I urge you to rethink your decision. We move in last April 29, 2016. Corey was the manager then. I don't know how others felt about him but he was very good to us. About 2 weeks after we moved in my husbands truck was broken into. There were some tools taken. My husband reported it to Corey, but unfortunately the cameras were not working and the gates were broken. Corey said that the gates would be repaired. The gates were not repaired until well after Yolanda arrived. We have had issues with our air-conditioning and the service man comes in and tell us that there is nothing wrong. A few days later when several other calls are placed by us a new service person comes out and says we need freon. On the last occasion when we asked to have a leak fixed in the kitchen the service person took my new Torrey Burch prescription glasses. When I reported them stolen they conveniently showed up in lost and found. Then in October our apartment door was kicked in and guns, computers and Jewelry, shoes and clothing was stolen. If our son had decided not to go to school that day he very well could have been killed. We were upset. We called the security officer who lives on site, she was awesome. Although we never saw her in person, she had an HPD Officer within 20 minutes of our call. Yolanda came to our apartment and she was extremely caring and offered to move us to another unit at their expense. I told her how thankful I was and that I wasn't right in my mind. She said she understood, but needless to say, nothing ever works out here the way they tell you it will. I had to move us to the new unit, because my husband had to go out of town, and my kids were in school. It took me 3 days to move. During this time of stress and turmoil, I had to sign other paperwork. When my husband returned from his work trip, he installed a steel bar and Barracades us in while we are here. Unfortunately it doesn't help when we leave. Our original renewal date was April 29th but because she relocated us and we signed a new contract we now have to stay until October. My husband visited with her this past Friday, and asked if she would honor our original renewal date. She told him that she would have to contact corporate and that she would get back with him. We did not hear from her at all on Friday or through the weekend. I called her today and she said, oh I got an email back on Friday and didn't read it until today. They will unfortunately not honor your Original date. You have to stay until October. I asked her for a number of someone else who we could talk to and she said you can have your husband email me, but I can tell you now that they will refer you back to me because they rely on me to handle the legal things. She also stated that it's unfortunate the world is the way it is but it is our own responsibility to make sure that we are safe. I also mentioned to her that on 2 different occasions in the evening some tried to enter my door. When I called out who's there the men ran away. There were 2 different men. She said that she found it odd that we were being targeted. She explained to me that criminals don't strike the same place twice and not in the evenings. They only do during the day. She said she knew this because she's been in the business a long time and has been to crime classes. In conclusion visitors can't visit, because almost every night people are on the 5th floor smoking Marijuana. Windows have been busted out of vehicles, a beautiful Camero was sitting on blocks. Beer bottles and liquor bottles can be found every where anytime. People get assaulted walking their dogs. I called the actual owner and I guess he's to good to speak with me because I received a call from the office and was told NOT in these words, but I understood what she was saying. Don't call the owner. Call Yolanda and if you don't want to talk to Yolanda we can give you another number. Use caution if you are considering a move here.

Not what you had in mind? Sorry about that, hopefully you'll give us another chance to continue your Houston apartment search.
Not the area you're looking for? We must've missed the mark. Don't worry we have plenty of apartments for rent nationwide.
