121 - 1BR Apartment - Move In Ready !! - Uptown Plaza ONLY has a few apartments left for a DECEMBER MOVE IN... Nothing available for January, February or March. We will be fully occupied with the first possible available being April 2020 - we will be taking applications for our Wait List come January !!

We only have 121 - 1BR on 1st floor and 314 - 1BR with balcony on top floor! We can tour Monday - Thursday from 10am to 2pm . We would need to confirm the tour times, please let us know a day and a 2 hour time frame that works for you and we’ll get a tour time set up and confirmed !!

All of our current availability is on our website… please go to / Find a Home, to take a look at what we have to offer, and click on View Details / click on Contact Us button to submit a Leasing Inquiry Guest Card... we prefer to set up tours for specific apartments, whenever possible… Please take note of the specific Available Date …

ALL TOURS are during the week - between 10am and 2pm - BY APPOINTMENT only… BRING PHOTO ID… We do not tour at night or on the weekends, as all of our apartments are occupied...

For those that have their apartment picked out, Go to / Find a Home / and click on 'APPLY NOW' to send us your APPLICATION ($50 per applicant)… attach documents needed to review the application… ie: proof of Income and valid ID.

All of our applicants go through the same rental criteria qualifications.

QUALIFIERS: Credit Score 675+; Income qualified at 3x’s the Rent amount; Clear Background Check; Good Rental History.

Security Deposit $600 (on approved credit; pending application decision)... $1200 if Co-signer needed… Any Co-Signer has to be blood relative and live in the state of MN… Having NO Credit, will not qualify, so plan ahead if need a Co-Signer. MUST PAY RENT ONLINE through resident online portal – which you will set up after application is approved, when we send you the link.

Applications are submitted online at Click on 'APPLY NOW' to send us your APPLICATION. All applicants over 18 and co-signers must submit an application. Must attach your proof of income and a valid photo to application. Please fully complete all areas of the application; missing info will delay the decision process. Renters Insurance is mandatory, proof prior to move in.

We allow lease end dates of 03/31, 04/30, 05/31, 06/30, 07/31, 08/31 – We do not allow Winter move outs.

We require a 2 full months notice to vacate, from current lease end date. We do have a transfer and roommate change fee. We do not allow subletting. We do not allow short term leases under 6 months. Leases under 11 months will incur a short term lease fee.


Uptown is a fully remodeled building. Depending on floor plan, most of the apartments being updated with newer appliances and flooring. The kitchen has more counter space than most Uptown apartments and has full sized appliances.

Parking is available for an additional monthly rate / depending on availability: Underground Garage $75 / Gated Lot $45

Cats are welcome at Uptown Plaza Apartments! $100 Cat Deposit (non-refundable); plus $10 Monthly Pet Rent.

Transportation is a breeze with a bus line right outside, several others mere blocks away and quick access to the highways, and within walking distance to Eat Street and many other great bars and restaurants.

Each apartment pays all utilities. Residents pay 100% of the electricity. Residents pay 90% of the Water, Trash and Gas (heat). Depending on weather, the bills do peak & valley – $45-$125/month depending on usage (( Gas & Water allocations are calculated by days in a month, # of occupants and square footage )).

Tenants pay their rent online only; ACH (free) or Credit Card (fee)

ZPG requires all tenants to have renter's insurance.

Uptown Plaza is a SMOKE FREE & DOG FREE Community.

All tours are by appointment only.

Lakes and Restaurants
Great neighborhood close to DT, the lakes, and some of the best restaurants in the Twin Cities. Can walk everywhere.

LOVED this area.
Walk out your front door and walk around lake Calhoun. Whole Foods and a shopping center are within walking distance. Great gym in building. Loved it.
