We sent a former property manager to investigate

Two- and three-story desert-toned stucco buildings with spanish tile accents. Large 400+ unit property but well designed with lots of grassy courtyards and two pools. Gym has been recently renovated and has LA Fitness brand equipment. Units are large with tons of storage and some have been renovated to include very nice faux-wood flooring. Pros include: Good location--walking distance to a lot but not sitting on busy roads. Complex is gated and locked at night. Units feel spacious with well-designed floor plans and tons of storage. The faux-wood flooring in the renovated units is very nice and looks like real hand scraped wood. On the down side, pool area and other outdoor common areas look older and in need of renovation. Property does not have a community room or club house area. Neighborhood outside complex may not be very safe to walk at night. Tips: Top floor units have vaulted ceilings. A few of the renovated units have granite counter tops. Watch out: Southwest edge of property/units have view of back of a shopping center.

“Poor Management - Making moving out tenants pay for upgrading the unit”

About 2 weeks I moved out of my apartment that I lived in for 12 Months. Over the course of these 12 Months, I was very careful that I did not cause too much damage to the apartment. While returning the key, I requested for appointment for walk through. I was told that walk through is not required and I will be charged only for major damage. Today I got a mail asking to pay 831.18 for the damages caused (Split up given below). They are telling that its my duty to schedule walk through and if it was done its not their fault. More over the staff who was working with me during returning of key is telling that I never requested for walk through.

Manager was not ready to speak with me, I forced them to discuss with me. But she was not ready for the discussion and kept saying "Sorry, we cannot change anything on this damage". When I brought up the issue where her staff said me that walk through is not required, both the staff and manager started moving in and were not discussing with me any more.

Carpet Replacement - $501.18

Repair and resurface of Kitchen counter - $250

Replace kitchen and living room blinds - $80

I changed the living room blinds only a month back and are pretty new. I never used the Kitchen blinds and no need for changing this.

I left the kitchen counter in the same condition it was given to me. Also while I moved in asked for new carpet, but they didn’t change it. It was pretty old carpet now charged for replacing the carpet. Wouldn't the apartment complex

“Non Luxury Apartment with bad managment staff”

These apartments are very basic, it lacks luxury, they are over priced average accommodation in a noisy commercial neighborhood.

The staff is not good. They show a lot of attitude when you visit them for anything. Usual answer to most of your request is a big nope.

It's close to a very big open desert land on the east side. Risk of getting snakes and other creatures like scorpion is high. These creatures may come to eat cockroaches and rats which roam around in the community.

This apartment is walkable distance from Fry's, walmart, McDonalds and few banks. It's also close to few automobile repair shops around it. There is some sever gas which leaks all the time in this area making this whole neighborhood a very very stinky place during sprint, summer and fall season (9 months approx).

I wonder why would someone pay premium price for such a basic, stinky place. It's not all luxury apartment living by any means.
