greatest run
I loved living in this area. After work I'd run to the beach boarwalk and continue all the way to Venice, where you can buy a nice refreshment and run/walk back in the sunset

Amazing area
Great location, walking distance to Wilshire which includes numerous restaurants, Whole Foods and bars. Quick walk to the bus system which can take you all over LA and less than 2 miles from the beach. Would highly recommend!

Best place to live on the westside
Walking distance to beach, great bars, diverse restaurants (hole-in the wall and Michelin star rated), gyms, grocery stores...and parking is not terrible (for santa monica)

There is a cluster of bars/lounges here that caters to the 20-something college grad folk (Cabo Cantina, Q's, and Bruhaus)
