“Twin oaks”

Absolutely love living at Twin Oaks apt, awesome location, great staff and very affordable with lots of eateries around. My apartment was HUGE for an apt in DC. Only thing I would recommend is adding a gym, other than that I have no recommendations. Only reason I'm moving is bc i'm buying a house. If you want a great apt at a great price in a great location this is it!!

Manager at Twin Oaks responded:
"We're so glad you have enjoyed your experience at Twin Oaks!"

There is only one word for Zadia and her staff, FABULOUS!! Gretch location and a good value for your budget! The only place I will live if I return to DC! The maintenance staff are great and the night staff are always willing to lend a hand!! After 2 1/2 years Zi had to say goodbye bc I was able to find a house share for significantly less $$. 

"We will miss you. Thank you for sharing your thoughts! "

“Good place”

One of the things that drew me to Twin Oaks was the view from the apartment I ended up renting. It overlooks a park and the large windows made a difference. The staff is typically very nice and informative. The apartment I rented also was painted by a previous tenant and the manager gave me the option to allow it to remain painted without any cost to me when I leave.

There are some concerns I have had about when there is staff present afterhours or on weekends, that has never been clear. Sometimes there are people and others there aren’t so that’s a bit confusing.

“Great Location, Fantastic Staff ”

Twin Oaks is a great price for the value--it's close to enough to explore, and the staff is just fantastic--they're always there to address your needs

Manager at Twin Oaks responded:
"Thank you so much for your kind words and for being such a great neighbor!"

Nice place here. Great view and they've recently added decorative touches. Management never an issue really unless you need them on the weekends/holidays then it takes a while. The walk to and from this building is always a wind tunnel for some reason but never had an issue stumbling home(from the Derby). Each floor has a different carpet design for some reason...weird. But its a great place.

“what an awesome value..and great staff!!!”

Zadia and the maintenance staff are top notch! I've never had to wait a long time for a service request (and if I did they were very good at explaining what was going on elsewhere and when they would come). clean, professional and lovely..

I always recommend this place to others. and the price cannot be beat!!

13th and U Streets NW
Awesome neighbourhood full of bars and restaurants and character and just a fun filled place.

Rosslyn is a great central location, two metro lines, across the river from DC, easy access to all highways and many big DC companies have offices in this neighborhood. As a primarily work-focused neighborhood, most restaurants here are chain lunches (Chipotle, Subway, Quiznos), but there are a couple of staples for happy hours (Cafe Asia, Continental Pool Lounge, and Piola).

Great Area
The location is fabulous for folks working in and around the DC metro area. Easy access to subway (orange line), convenient to both airports (DCA and IAD), and much cheaper/more space than most of DC. You are never more than a 10min cab ride into Georgetown too!

Best location in DC
This was the perfect location between Dupont, Georgetown, and Foggy Bottom. The downside is that it was expensive and rampant with GU kids. 2400M was a nice building, but they were increasing prices like crazy, and the GU kids were tripling-up in the rooms.

Close to Adamns Morgan & Dupont
This is a great location because it's two blocks away from Adams Morgan. Awesome nightlife, bars, restaurants, etc. It's also close to Dupont. The one negative is that it isn't close to a Metro stop which makes communiting a bus affair.

Clarendon 1021
This is a pretty chic area full of 20- and 30-something working professionals, and Clarendon 1021 is full of them. The rooftop pool and views are awesome and made my summers at Clarendon 1021 awesome.

Pet friendly!
One of the few DC apartment buildings that allows dogs over 50 pounds.

Best Location in the city
Right off of 14th Street with access to both the new restaurants and shops of 14th Street, near the P Street Wholefoods, and walking distance to U Street bars is the best place right now to live in DC. Lots of new hotspots going in all the time and development in the housing market. You can walk to everything and the neighborhood has an ecclectic and vibrant feel.
